Directions for Making Rudolph Ornaments

Let’s follow these steps to create our own adorable wood-slice Rudolph ornament! We’ll start by making Rudolph’s antlers and adding his shiny red nose and friendly eyes. Soon, you’ll have a cute holiday decoration ready to hang on the tree!

Let’s start by painting all our clothespins with nice, warm brown like real antlers! While the paint is still wet, we’ll sprinkle a little glitter on top to make them sparkle. Now, let’s set them aside to dry completely before moving on to the next step.

Start by gluing two googly eyes near the top center of each wood slice to make Rudolph’s face. Next, attach a red jingle bell just below the eyes to create his bright, shiny nose. Finally, glue two clothespins at the top of each wood slice to look like antlers, completing Rudolph’s festive look!

Cut a small piece of twine long enough to use as a hanger for your ornament. Fold the twine in half, creating a loop at the top, and place a glue dot on the two ends. Press the glued ends onto the back of each wood slice, and your ornament will now have a sturdy hanger for easy display on the tree!
