Using the hole punch, punch holes along the inside circle of the plate. It doesn’t matter how many holes you have here.
Now, let your child color the pot of gold black and the bottom green for grass.
Start with the red yarn. Thread it through the first hole on the rim of the pot of gold. Tie a knot to secure the yarn.
Next, thread the yarn through the first border hole and back to the first hole on the pot.
Add a yellow pony bead to the yarn at random intervals before threading it back through the next hole to fill the pot with gold (beads).
Use this technique with all the colors of the rainbow. Each color will have its own hole at the top of the pot of gold.
Secure each yarn end on the back with a knot.
