Preschool Mummy Craft
Halloween crafts are great, and this preschool mummy craft is no exception! Kids can build fine motor muscles as they wrap their cute mummies.
Your kids will love adding their toilet paper roll mummies to your Halloween activities this fall. They are great for imaginative play or just put them on display.
This preschool craft allows kids to work with a few different supplies, which will also work a few different skills. Painting is great for building muscles in your child’s hands and arms. Tearing and wrapping the gauze is good for building finger strength and control. And kids will develop their pincer grasp as they pick up the google eyes.

Your little ones will enjoy making this mummy craft, and you’ll love how easy it is for them to complete!
What You’ll Need
You may already have the necessary supples on hand. If not, you can order them through my Amazon affiliate links by clicking the links or images below.
toilet paper rolls | glue sticks |google eyes | green paint | white gauze
What You’ll Do
To begin, paint the cardboard tube green. Your child could choose any color they’d like. Set the tube aside to dry.
Once the tube is dry, glue one edge of the gauze anywhere on the tube. Have your child wrap the tube loosely with the gauze. You’ll want some of the color showing through.
Once your child is pleased with how much gauze is on their mummy, have them glue the other end of the strip down.
Then, let them choose a google eye or two to put on their mummies.
Easy peasy! That’s all it takes to make this super cute mummy craft for preschool.
Now, your kids can add it to their imaginative play area or put it on display. They can make a whole bunch, if they’d like!
