Print the worksheets and present them to your preschooler with colored pencils or crayons for coloring.

Introduce the concept of color by numbers to your children. Explain that they will be coloring a picture using specific colors, and that they must follow the colors given to complete the picture correctly.

Choose one of the worksheets to begin with. Have them identify the number one and the corresponding color. Explain that they will color each section containing the number 1 that specific color.

Once they’ve colored all of the sections numbered “1”, they’ll continue through the numbers in the color code to complete the picture.
