Color Matching
Print and laminate these activity pages and provide some pom poms to your child. Have them match the pom poms to the correct color on the challenge mat.
I find it easiest to work from top to bottom so that the kids don’t bump the pom poms with their hands as they work.
Counting
After your child has covered the entire image, have them count each set of pom poms. This is a great way to help them practice counting from 1-30.
For more counting practice, check out these printable space counting mats for preschoolers.
Number Formation
Once they’ve counted each colored pom pom, have them right that number on the line.
If necessary, provide your child with a number line to copy the numbers. Or, draw them lightly with a pencil and have your child trace over them.
