With just a few simple supplies you’ve probably got in your craft closet already, preschoolers and kindergarteners can whip up this adorable Christmas tree in no time.

This holiday craft for preschoolers isn’t too time consuming, and it doesn’t take much prepwork to get it ready for your kids.

Once complete, kids can display their trees around the classroom or on the table at your Christmas dinner.

Christmas Tree Craft

You won’t believe how easy it is to make this pinecone craft. In just a few minutes, you can have a super simple Christmas tree craft to display.

What You’ll Need

pinecone
green craft paint
paintbrush
pom poms
glue
paper plate
disposable cup

What You’ll Do

Preschoolers will love searching for pinecones on your next nature walk. If you don’t live near any pine trees, you can purchase pine cones wherever you buy your craft supplies.

To start your craft, have children paint the pinecone green. Set aside to dry. If needed, add another coat of paint and let it dry.

Glue the pom poms around the pinecone. Then, glue a large pom pom on the top of the pinecone. Allow the glue to dry.
