What You’ll Need
- Apple name craft template
- Crayons or colored pencils
- Black marker
- Scissors
- Glue
What You’ll Do
Print out an apple template and a circle template. Instruct students to write one letter of their name in each circle. If they use a black marker or crayon, the letter will stand out.
Use safety scissors to cut out the circles from the circle template. Be sure you have one circle for each letter of the child’s name.
Instruct your child to color the apple, stem, and leaf. If they’d like, they can cut out the apple shape, keeping the stem and leaf intact.
Have your child glue the letter circles onto the top of the apple to spell their name. Before they glue them down, make sure the letters are in the correct order.
Once the glue is dry, your child’s name apple is ready to be displayed. Hang it on the wall, the refrigerator, or anywhere you want to show off their hard work!
This craft not only helps with name recognition but also reinforces fine motor skills and creativity. Enjoy the process and the personalized result!
