Dragonfly Printable

These dragonfly worksheets are such a fun way to engage preschoolers this spring and summer. Because they’re print-and-go, they’re perfect for busy preschool moms and teachers like you!

Fine motor muscles are used in zipping zippers, tying shoelaces, handwriting, and more.

I believe it’s important to include activities in your preschool lessons that will strengthen those fine motor muscles.

Many of the activities in this worksheet packet will do just that.

In addition to strengthening fine motor skills, these worksheets help little ones focus on the letter Dd and the life cycle of a dragonfly.

PREPARING YOUR ACTIVITIES

Most of these pages are print-and-go. Just print them out, and let your child complete them.

The puzzle on page 3 and on page 12 need to laminated and cut apart. I suggest printing them on cardstock before laminating them. This will help make them more durable.

Pages 4, 7, and 10 can be laminated, as well. If you laminate them, kids can use a dry erase marker to complete them. Then, you can wipe them clean and reuse them later.

Using the Pages

Print the pages, and decide which ones to use with your students.

Provide your students with the worksheets along with writing utensils, scissors, and glue.

Students will follow the directions to complete each page.
