Paper Plate Apple Craft

I do love to make apple crafts in August and September. And, it doesn’t get any easier than this paper plate craft.
With just a few supplies you’ve probably got in your craft closet already, preschoolers and kindergarteners can whip up this apple craft in no time.
Paper Plate Apple Craft
You won’t believe how easy it is to make this preschool craft. In just a few minutes, you can have a super simple apple craft to display.
What You’ll Need
- Large white paper plate
- Red craft paint
- Brown construction paper
- Green construction paper
- Green pipe cleaner
- Glue (or hot glue gun)
- Paint brush
- scissors
What You’ll Do
Paint the paper plate red. Set aside to dry. Once dry, apply another coat if desired. Set aside to dry completely.
Cut a brown stem out of the brown construction paper.
Cut a green leave out of the green construction paper.
Turn the paper plate over to the back and glue the stem on. Allow to dry.
Turn the paper plate over to the front and glue the leaf next to the stem.
Cut the pipe cleaner into a 4 inch piece. Twirl the pipe cleaner around your finger to shape the stem.
Turn the paper plate to the back and glue the pipe cleaner to the back. Once dry, you can use a strong piece of tape to make sure the pipe cleaner stays secure on the paper plate.
Display the apple paper plate craft!
