What You’ll Need
- Three paper plates

- Red, black, yellow, and white construction paper
- Cotton balls
- Scissors
- Glue
What You’ll Do
Begin by cutting out the centers of two paper plates.
Take a third paper plate and paint the bottom half red and the top half black. Also, paint the two plate centers black to use as Mickey’s ears. Let everything dry completely.
Once dry, glue the two black circles to the back of the painted plate, positioning them on the black half as Mickey’s ears.
While the glue dries, cut out the following from colored paper:
- Long black rectangle.
- Yellow square (it should fit over the black rectangle).
- Small red hat shape (sized to fit between the ears).
- Long, white rectangle to match the bottom edge of the hat.
- Small white circle.
Glue the black rectangle across the center of the plate where the red and black paint meet, then place the yellow square in the center of this rectangle.
Next, glue the white rectangle just above the ears, across the top of the black area. Attach the red hat to the white rectangle, then add the white circle to the tip of the hat.
To finish, add cotton balls along the white rectangle and the top of the hat to create a fluffy, festive look!
