To Get a Letter Postmarked from the North Pole
For a letter to receive an official North Pole postmark, start by having your child write a letter to Santa and place it in an envelope addressed to “Santa Claus, North Pole.” Include a personalized response in the same envelope.
Then, put this smaller envelope inside a larger one addressed to your child, with the return address set as “SANTA, NORTH POLE.” Mail the larger envelope to:
NORTH POLE POSTMARK
POSTMASTER
4141 POSTMARK DR
ANCHORAGE, AK 99530-9998
To get a letter postmarked from the North Pole, make sure to send your letters between November 23 and December 1. Santa’s helpers in Anchorage will take care of the rest, ensuring your child’s letter receives the special North Pole postmark.
Tips for Personalizing Santa Letters
When personalizing Santa letters, make the message unique to your child. Start by including the child’s name and mention specific details, like a recent accomplishment or a special request they made.
Highlight personal traits or behaviors that Santa “noticed” throughout the year, such as being helpful or kind. You can also reference your family’s holiday traditions or local events to make the letter feel more authentic.
Adding a handwritten signature from Santa and using festive stationery can enhance the magical experience.
