How to Complete the Color by Number Printables

Before beginning this activity, review the color key at the top of each page to ensure that your students understand which colors correspond to which numbers.

If your kids can’t read the color words, help them color the color word with the correct color. This is a great way to use these pages with pre-readers.

Now, let’s get started with the activity!

Using either crayons or colored pencils, students will begin coloring in each section of the flower according to its corresponding number. For example, if a certain area is labeled with the number “4” then your child should color that space with a color found in the key with the number “4”.

Continue this process until your child has completed all of the sections, thus completing their flower artwork!
