Going to the zoo is a great way to learn about animals, and it can be a lot of fun, too! If you can’t make it to the zoo in person, though, don’t worry – you can bring the zoo to you with a preschool zoo theme.

Start by reading some books about animals that live at the zoo. Then, get creative with some of the animal-themed crafts and printables I’ve shared here on Homeschool Preschool.

You might even want to set up a pretend zoo in your classroom or home, complete with cages, toy animals, and jungle vines.
