Free Printable Santa Beard Countdown

Counting down to Christmas is so exciting! This preschool Christmas printable is the perfect hands-on way for your preschoolers to do that. Have your little ones glue a cotton ball on Santa’s beard each day.

Start at 24 and count down to 1. This should alleviate all the “how many more days until Christmas” questions your kids have. Not only is this activity the perfect way to countdown to Christmas, but your preschoolers will also work on some important skills.

Focus on number recognition as your preschoolers identify the number they’re about to cover up with a cotton ball. They’ll focus on number order as they hunt for the next number in the counting sequence. They can count how many days they’ve covered and how many days are left.

Fine motor skills will also get a little workout with this activity page. Your kids will work on their pincer grasp as they pick up individual cotton balls. If you use liquid glue, they’ll work on the muscles in their fingers as they squeeze the bottle of glue.

Don’t you just love how one simple activity can do so much?
