This simple rabbit puppet craft printable is perfect for your spring and Easter activities. It’s a great way to get kids excited about these adorable animals.

This fun paper craft is great for preschoolers. In completing this activity, preschoolers and kindergarteners have an opportunity to strengthen scissor skills.

Rabbit Craft

This adorable bunny craft can be added to so many of your springtime lesson plans. It works well within your farm and pet themes. You can also add it to your Letter B (bunny) or Letter R (rabbit) lessons. In addition, you can add it to your Easter theme as an Easter Bunny paper craft.

What You’ll Need

• white cardstock

• scissors

• jumbo craft stick

• gluestick

• rabbit craft template (at the bottom of this post)

What You’ll Do

Download the rabbit craft template and print it out on white cardstock. I like to use cardstock, because it’s sturdier than regular printer paper.

Cut apart each of the pieces of the rabbit puppet.

Note: Allowing your preschoolers and kindergarteners to cut out these pieces on their own, is a great way for them to strengthen fine motor skills.

The pieces may not be cut out perfectly, but the more they practice… the better they’ll get.

Glue the head to the top of the body, and then glue bottom of each ear to the backside of the head.

Paste the arm to the left side of the body below the head. Finally, glue the legs to the bottom of the body.

Glue the craft stick to the back of the legs. Now, your puppet is complete.
