Butterfly Life Cycle Coloring Page
One of my favorite things about spring is butterflies. I can’t wait until they’re flitting around the flowerbeds in my yard.
This spring, my grandson will be old enough to explore the butterflies with me. I’m excited to purchase a butterfly habitat and caterpillars so he can watch the transformation himself.

When spring hits your town, be ready to teach your preschoolers about butterflies with some fun butterfly life cycle activities.
This one-page butterfly life cycle worksheet is a great place to start. It features pictures showing each of the four stages of a butterfly’s life cycle.
You can point out the main features of each stage such as eggs on a leaf, a caterpillar, a chrysalis, and the adult butterfly ready to start the cycle all over again.
