Color or paint the paper plate green.

Cut off the right and left sides of the plate. Throw these pieces away.

Cut off the bottom of the plate. Keep this piece, as it will become the lower jaw.

Trim a piece of black construction paper to fit the trimmed paper plate. Then, cut a jagged edge for Frankenstein's hair.

Now, cut out bolts from the black paper scraps, and glue them to each side of Frankenstein's face.

Finish off the face with googly eyes and a hand-drawn nose.

Punch holes along the bottom of Frankenstein's head and the top of the jaw piece. Be sure to punch the same number of holes on each piece.

Now, have preschoolers weave the yarn through the holes going from top to bottom to create Frankenstein's stitchy grin.

Secure the ends of the yarn by knotting them to a nearby stitch.
