Paper Bag Turkey Craft

This Paper Bag Turkey Craft is a fun and easy Thanksgiving project for preschoolers, perfect for developing fine motor skills. With simple materials like paper bags, feathers, and googly eyes, kids can create their own colorful turkey to celebrate the holiday!

Materials

  • Brown paper bag
  • Feathers
  • Googly eyes
  • Construction paper
  • Scissors
  • Glue

Instructions

  • Lay the paper bag flat with the flap facing down and the opening at the bottom.
  • Attach the feathers to the top of the bag and let them dry.
  • Flip the bag over. Glue the googly eyes near the center of the flap.
  • Cut a beak from orange construction paper and a waddle from red paper. Glue both under the eyes, then let everything dry.
  • For extra fun, pair this craft with the book There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Turkey.
