These Fish Shapes Playdough Mats for preschoolers are a great addition to your math centers any time of the year. Fine motor fun and shape practice in one easy activity!

This is a fantastic resource designed to help preschoolers identify and create 2D shapes while strengthening fine motor muscles using playdough.

How to use these playdough mats…

Print the pages and laminate them for durability. This will also help keep the playdough from sticking to the paper. If you don’t have a laminator, slip the pages into a plastic sleeve.

Have kids use playdough to build the fish shapes, and then trace the words with dry erase markers. 

To save on ink, you can print these playdough mats 2 to a page. Laminate them, and then cut them apart.
