Christmas Countdown – Glue cotton balls on Santa’s beard as you countdown to Christmas. Perfect for working on number recognition with preschoolers. 

Letter to Santa Template – Practice writing (or dictating) a letter to Santa. 

Letter Hunts – Preschoolers will search for the featured letter on each page. Perfect for working on letter recognition, visual discrimination, and beginning sounds. 

Alphabet Clip Cards – Little ones will identify the letter at the top of each card. Then, using a clothespin, they’ll identify the matching lowercase letter. 

Alphabet Matching Game – Cut apart each card. Have preschoolers match uppercase and lowercase letters. 

Letter Recognition – Students will identify the letter in the center of each card. Then, they’ll use clothespins or a hole punch to identify the matching letters. This is a great activity in visual discrimination as different fonts are used for each letter. 

Color Sorting – Children will sort Christmas-themed cards according to their colors. 

Size Sequencing – Cut out the cards, and have children order them from biggest to smallest or smallest to largest. 

Letter Matching – Identify the letter on each Christmas tree card. Place the corresponding letter ornaments on the correct tree.
