Turtle Math Worksheets

If a turtle theme is part of your spring and summer lesson plans, these turtle math worksheets are a must-see! They are a great addition to your upcoming math lessons.

Your preschoolers will practice counting sets and recognizing numbers to ten, subitizing to six, and filling in the missing numbers in a set of ten.

What is subitizing?

Subitizing is the ability to recognize the number of objects in a group without needing to count them. It is an important early math skill that children can learn in preschool.

Print the worksheets and make as many as you need for your students. If you’d like to make any of the pages reusable, laminate them or slip them in a dry-erase pocket.

Preparing the Worksheets

There are three math worksheets included in this pack.

Students will count sets of turtles and paste the corresponding in the box. Pasting the numbers in the box develops hand-eye coordination.

Counting Sets Up to 10

Students will practice subitizing to six. They’ll roll a die, determine the number of dots on the face, and then color the turtle holding the same number.

Roll and Color

Not only will they practice number order and number formation, but they’ll also exercise logical reasoning as they determine which number comes next.
