Preschool Shamrock Craft
Your little crafters will love this St Patricks preschool shamrock craft! They’ll build hand strength and motor skills with this fun lacing craft.
Kids will build hand strength as they punch holes for this craft. Then, they’ll work on fine motor skills and hand eye coordination as they lace the yarn through the holes they punched.

Preschool Shamrock Craft
The lacing crafts I’ve shared recently have become increasingly popular here on the blog. So, I’m excited to share yet another one with you. Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day!
What You’ll Need
What You’ll Do
Fold your paper plate in half.
Trace the ridged border to form the inside circle. Then, draw half a shamrock in the middle, making sure to connect the bottom with the border.
Cut out the shape with scissors.
Hole punch around the entire inside of the plate and around the edge of the shamrock you cut out.
Starting with the red yarn, thread it through the bottom left hole. Knot it to secure it to the plate.
Then, lace the yarn through the holes going from the shamrock to the holes around the border.
Tip: Use a piece of clear tape at the end of the yarn to prevent it from fraying.
Continue with the other colored yarns, forming a rainbow. Secure each end with a knot on the backside of the plate.
The shamrock lacing paper plate craft is complete!
