We are deep in the throes of winter here. We haven’t had any snow for over a week, but we’ve got some pretty cold temperatures still.

This winter slime recipe is perfect for this time of year. But, it’s great in the dog days of summer, as well, when you and the kids are missing the cold and the snow.

Snowball Slime

Your kids will love helping you mix, stretch, and manipulate this winter slime recipe. It’s a great sensory and motor skill activity for your tots and preschoolers.

What You’ll Need

• 1 airtight container

• 1 5 oz bottle of clear glue

• ½ cup water

• ½ tsp baking soda

• 1 tbsp contact solution

Small foam beads

Iridescent glitter

• Small bowl


What You’ll Do

In a bowl, pour the entire 5 oz bottle of clear glue.

Add in ½ cup of water.

Add in ½ tsp baking soda and stir.

Add the glitter. Don’t be shy!

Pour in some foam bead snowballs.

Add 1 tbsp contact solution. It will instantly begin to form.

It will be STICKY! Don’t panic! Mix the solution in the bowl until it starts to form.

Knead the slime until it is no longer sticky.

Store in an airtight container.
