You can print these free preschool printables on cardstock and laminate them for durability. If you don’t have a laminator, you can slip them in a dry erase pocket. This allows the pages to be used over and over again.

Scarecrow Playdough Mats

As I mentioned above, these free printable playdough mats require no prep. Just print them, laminate them if desired, and you’re all set!

Kids will have so much fun making patches to add to each scarecrow’s outfit. All you need to provide is a few cans of colorful playdough.

By pinching, rolling, and shaping the playdough, your preschoolers will build the small muscles in their fingers and hands.

However, if you’re averse to using playdough with your preschoolers, you can also use buttons or colored gems. Using the pincer grasp to pick up these items and place them on the printable playdough mats is another fine way to build their fine motor muscles.

ScaredycrowScaredycrow is a scarecrow with a big problem. He’s scared of EVERYTHING! He’s scared of the crows that fly by in the day. He’s scared of the bats that swoop down in the night. He’s scared of the barnyard animals, too. And the feeling is mutual! The crows, the bats, and other barnyard friends are all terribly afraid of the lonely, little scarecrow out in the field.
