Printable Airplane Activities for Preschoolers

Inside this airplane worksheet pack, you’ll receive 15 pages of aviation fun for preschoolers.

Handwriting Practice

These worksheets are great for working on handwriting, letter recognition, and letter and number formation.

You can make these pages reusable by slipping them in a plastic sleeve or laminating them to be used with a dry erase marker.

You’ll receive alphabet pages for both uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers 1-20, airplane, and pilot (both boy and girl).

Cutting Practice

Children will color the picture of an airplane, and then they’ll cut it out on the dotted line. If desired, kids can glue the plane to a piece of paper and draw clouds to mimic a sky.

Tracing Practice

Kids will trace the lines to create an airplane. They can color the picture, if desired. For a different fine motor activity, have kids use wikki stix to trace the shape.

Labeling Pages

Build your child’s vocabulary with these fun labeling pages. Kids can trace the labels and then color the pictures. You’ll receive an airplane and a pilot to label.

Sorting Practice

Kids will color three pictures of a pilot. Then, they’ll cut the pictures out and glue them on the grid in order from smallest to largest.

Color Words

There are six airplanes on the page. Kids will read the color word and color the airplane accordingly.

Tracing Lines

Kids will trace curly and zig zagged lines from left to write. This is a great prewriting activity for young preschoolers. It also helps them to strengthen fine motor skills as they work hard to stay within the outline.

Count and Graph

Preschoolers will count the objects in the box at the top of the page. Then, they’ll fill in the graph accordingly.
