Here’s a fun happy/spooky paper plate preschool pumpkin craft that is perfect for your autumn and/or Halloween activities.

As you begin planning your preschool Halloween activities, be sure to add some fun crafts to your lessons. This tw0-sided paper plate pumpkin craft is perfect for preschool, kindergarten, and early elementary students.

This preschool craft allows kids to build their fine motor skills while coloring and/or painting their paper plates. They’ll love adding them to their Halloween pretend play.

Preschool Pumpkin Craft

Your little ones will enjoy making this pumpkin preschool craft, and you’ll love how easy it is for them to complete!

What You’ll Need

2 paper plates | 1 popsicle stick | Black paint or marker | orange craft paint

Glow in the dark paint | Paint brush | Scissors | Stapler

What You’ll Do

To start this craft, have your child paint the outside/bottom of one plate orange.

Once the paint dries, have them paint the inside/top of the orange plate glow-in-the-dark green. Set it aside again to dry.

While that place dries, grab a second paper plate. Paint the outside/bottom of that plate black.

Once your paper plates have dried, cut a scary/spooky face on your black paper plate. Draw a happy jack-o-lantern face on the orange side of the other plate.

Staple the paper plates together with the craft stick in between. Now, your spooky jack-o-lantern will “glow” with the green paint.

Your kids can use this craft to retell their favorite Halloween or pumpkin stories.
