Nativity Sequencing Pictures

This low-prep pack of nativity sequencing pages is the perfect addition to your holiday homeschool preschool lessons. Just print, laminate, and cut. Then, you’re all ready to go!

To start, I like to read a full version of the nativity story. You can read it straight from the Bible, a children’s Bible, or a storybook version.

Afterward, reading the story a time or two, give your preschooler the story sequencing cards. Have your child put them in order from beginning to end.

Reread the story, and have your child check their work. Did they put the story cards in the correct order?

Next, have your child put the sequencing discs in order on the sequencing mat. There is a full color and a black/white version included in this pack.

Finally, have your child use the sequencing mat to retell the story of Jesus’s birth.

Variations:

You can make this nativity story sequencing activity reusable by laminating the pages. Put velcro dots on the numbered circles and on the back of the sequencing dots.

You could also glue the Christmas sequencing cards to popsicle sticks for an interactive storytelling activity.
