Life Cycle of a Strawberry
This life cycle of a strawberry coloring book is designed to help preschoolers learn (or review) how strawberries grow.
As you begin fleshing out your strawberry activities for preschoolers, be sure to leave room in your schedule to teach the life cycle of a strawberry.
You can also teach the life cycle during a plant, healthy eating, or color red preschool theme week.
Add these free preschool printables to your lessons this fall. It’s the perfect addition to your study of strawberries!
Life Cycle of a Strawberry Coloring Book
Not only do coloring pages provide kids with an opportunity to express their creativity, but they provide an opportunity to teach proper pencil grip.
Each simple coloring page in this coloring book includes a caption naming each stage of the life cycle. These captions, written in a dotted font, are perfect for tracing.
After coloring the pictures, let kids trace the words in their best handwriting.
Studying Strawberries
This coloring book is just one of twenty activities included in my strawberry life cycle bundle.
You can use these pages to introduce the life cycle. Use the cover page as a teaching tool to teach the sequence of the life cycle.
Then, present the coloring pages. Have your child put them in order using the diagram, if necessary.
Bind the pages into a coloring book, if you’d like. Then, let kids use the book to tell a friend or loved one what they’ve learned.
VARIATIONS:
Print these pages on regular printer paper, and let your preschoolers use their favorite coloring medium to complete each page.
You can also laminate them or slip them in a dry erase pocket after coloring the pictures. Then, let your little ones use dry erase markers to trace the words.
