Gingerbread Man Count and Graph

This no-prep count and graph math pack is print and go making it perfect for busy preschool moms and teachers. It is so simple to use, as well. Perfect for your holiday or winter preschool activities.

To complete this activity, show students how to find and count the first image. Count all the old ladies. Write the number in the box under the old lady. Continue with the other five images. 

When students have finished the count and find portion, show them how to graph their results. Encourage your student to color one square for each image they found. 

Once the graphing page is complete, ask questions to help your preschoolers compare and analyze the data on the graph. Which object had the most? Which had the least? How many gingerbread boys and girls are there all together? How man more foxes were there than old ladies?

Variations:

There are a variety of ways to use this count and graph activity. To use this activity pack in a center, print one copy of the graphing page and laminate it or slip it in a dry erase pocket. Then, print out a graphing sheet for each student. Let them write the numbers on the I Spy page with dry erase marker. Then, they can color their graphing page to be turned in. 

You can also laminate the graphing page and let students use dry erase markers on it, as well. This is a great way to make the activity reusable for both group and individual use.
