Farm Themed Number Sense Activity Pages

Farm-themed number sense activity pages will help preschoolers recognize and count items from 1 to 10. So much fun for little ones!

This set of worksheets focuses on quite a few different beginning math skills, and they are a great companion to your farm activities for preschoolers.

Preschoolers need opportunities to learn and experience numbers in different ways.

They need to practice identifying numbers and practice counting on a daily basis.

The more they practice these skills, the more fluent they will become.

Number Sense Activity Pages

The activity pages in this farm-themed counting page are a great place to start. Students will start out by identifying the number at the top of each page.

Then, they’ll count and color each of the images in the top row. Counting out loud helps young learners hear what the numbers sound like and the correct counting order. One-to-one correspondence is an important beginning math skill.

Next, have your preschoolers trace the numbers on the handwriting lines. Once they’ve got a handle on tracing each of the numerals, they can practice writing them in the empty spaces on the handwriting lines.

At the bottom of each page, you’ll find a collection of counting boxes. Each of the boxes contains farm-themed images to count.

This portion of the activity page gives preschoolers another opportunity to count out loud.

These farm-themed number sense activities will help young learners recognize and count items from 1 to 10.

Cut the six boxes apart and mix them up. Have your preschooler count the images in each box – one at a time.

If the box contains the featured number of items, have your preschooler glue it in one of the empty boxes at the top of the page.

Once all of the pages have been completed, you can staple them into a mini counting book. Your preschoolers can practice counting over and over again.

With a farm theme, this pack is the perfect addition to your farm-themed unit or a Letter Ff unit.
