Peep House Craft

Break a whole graham cracker in half. You’ll need 5 halves for each of the Easter Peeps houses.

Melt the chocolate melts according to package directions. Put the melted chocolate into a small plastic bag or piping bag.

Lay a graham cracker half down, and pipe a line of chocolate on each side of a graham cracker half. Stand the graham cracker halves on each line of chocolate. Hold them until the chocolate sets – about a minute or so.

Next, pipe a line of chocolate on top of the two crackers that are standing upright. Then, take 2 more halves and place each one on the chocolate. Bend them toward each other so they touch at the top like a roof. Hold them for a minute or two so the chocolate sets.

Then, pipe a thick line of chocolate right on the crack where the two roof sides meet at the peak. Let this set for three to four minutes.

Now, let your child put some of the edible grass into the bottom of each chick house that you’ve made. Set a peep chick in each one.

Add a couple of Easter candy eggs around on the grass inside each chicken house.
