PREPARING THE ACTIVITY

All you need to do to prep this activity is print and go. You can print on cardstock if you don’t want the dot markers to bleed through.

Provide your preschoolers with a set of dot markers, and you’re all set.

USING THE PRINTABLE

This is a super easy activity to use with preschool and kindergarten students. Provide each child with a worksheet and a dot marker.

Have your child name the letter and the animal on the page. Have them trace the letters at the top left of the page.

Now, have them use a dot marker to fill in each circle on the letters.

Variations:

For toddlers who aren’t quite ready for letter recognition, let them just work on filling the circles. It’s not too early to start strengthening fine motor skills.

If you don’t have dot markers, you can use other items to fill in those circles. Use buttons, clear bingo chips, or even crayons to complete the activity.
