This hands-on alphabet game includes two game boards and three pages of alphabet picture cards.

Preparing the Worksheets
To get started, gather the materials you’ll need to prepare the activity. I suggest the following:
- printer
- printer paper
- paper cutter
- laminator
- laminating film
- dry erase markers
Now that you have all of your supplies, let’s get started with the prepwork.
- First, scroll to the very bottom of this post and enter your email address to request the file.
- Save the file to your computer.
- Open and print the worksheets making as many as you need for your students.
- Laminate the pages and then cut the gumball alphabet picture cards apart.
That’s it! Now, you’re all set to use this activity with your preschoolers.
Completing the Activity
This is a simple game for little ones to play. To play the alphabet game, students will
- Choose a gumball picture card.
- Identify the picture focusing on the beginning sound.
- Then, use a dry erase marker to color in the correct letter on the gumball machine.
- Continue in this manner until all of the letters are colored.
