Zoo Books for Kindergarten

Add these zoo books for kindergarten to your shelves to teach your kids about animals that live in the zoo.

When you begin teaching your students about animals that live in the zoo, be sure to include a variety of fiction and nonfiction books about as many animals as you can.

This list includes easy readers that you can read to your child or that your beginning reader can read on their own.

Below, I’ve featured just a handful of easy reader books that will help your kindergarteners learn about animals in the zoo.

Add some plastic zoo animal figures to your pretend play area for kids to explore. They’ll have so much fun using them to act out zoo books or other imaginative play scenarios.
