Wonderful Printable Winter Gratitude Journal for Kids

Gratitude isn’t just for November! Kids can spend some time this winter focusing on the things they’re thankful for with this winter gratitude journal for kids.

From winter weather to favorite winter memories, help your kids focus on the things they’re most thankful for as they record their thoughts in this printable gratitude journal.

With fifteen writing prompts, kids can pick and choose their favorite prompt. Or, you can assign one or two a week for the entire winter season.

Winter Gratitude Journal for Kids

I recommend printing out this journal and binding it into a booklet. This allows kids to flip to their favorite page during their journal time.

You could also print out several of the same page if your kids love writing and want to record more than one thought per prompt.

Each page features a blank box for illustrations and several primary writing lines. Young writers can write their own stories on the lines, or they can dictate their story for you to write.

The goal here is just to get your kids’ creative juices flowing, get their thoughts on paper, and get them focused on the world around them.

Spelling, grammar, and handwriting are all unimportant at this stage. Just focus on putting pencil to paper.

Once the journal is filled up, it makes a great keepsake. It’s fun to pull these journals out year after year to see how much your child has grown. They’ll giggle as they read what they were thankful for in years past. And, they may want to recreate some favorite memories in the current year.
