PREPARING THE WORKSHEETS

To get started, gather the materials you’ll need to prepare the activity. I suggest the following:

scissors or paper cutter
pencils or crayons

Now that you have all of your supplies, let’s get started with the prep work.

Save the file to your computer.
Open and print the worksheets making as many as you need for your students.
Laminate the puzzles before cutting them apart.

That’s it! Now, you’re all set to use this activity with your preschoolers.

What’s Included?

Four-Part Puzzles – Print and laminate these pages. Cut apart the puzzle pieces, and have children reassemble the puzzles.

Alphabet Cards – Print and laminate these pages. Cut apart the alphabet cards. Have kids match uppercase and lowercase letters to complete the sets.

Alphabet Mazes – Trace a path from A to Z. There is an uppercase maze and a lowercase maze.

Handwriting Practice – Color the picture, and trace the name of the character.

Letter Hunt – Using a dot marker or crayon, identify the featured letter.

Counting Practice – Kids will follow the directions to mark a specific number of items and then trace the number.

Counting the Grid – Kids will count the objects in a grid, and then circle the correct number.

Graphing Practice – Children will roll the die, and color a square in the column of that character. Continue in this manner until one column reaches the top.

Number Puzzles – Print and laminate the pages. Cut apart the puzzle pieces. Have kids assemble the pieces in number order to complete the puzzles.

Number Maze – Preschoolers will trace a path from one to ten.
